WESTMINSTER - The City of Westminster has major plans for the 105-acre site where the Westminster Mall used to be.
Tuesday morning, the city unveiled a new downtown development on the site near U.S. 36 and Sheridan.
The development will have multi-story office and residential buildings, public space and shopping areas.
City planners and representatives from the urban planning firm Torti Gallas and Partners came up with the plan and says it's the first draft of a master vision.
Construction will take place over the next 20 to 30 years.
There will also be parks, plazas and access to public transit.
