GREELEY - A woman charged with pulling a pellet gun on a neighbor and his kids was found guilty Wednesday.
A Weld County jury found Joyce Bradmon, 76, guilty of felony menacing.
Michael Crawley, 30, told police Bradmon pointed the pellet gun at him in 2011 after she yelled at his child for drawing on a sidewalk with chalk.
"When she came out, she had a gun in her lap. [She] picked up the gun, waved it at me and said 'you want one of these?' At that time, I had a 6-year-old. My daughter was right here, and an 11-year-old right in front of me," Crawley said.
Bradmon testified Tuesday that she only held the gun on her lap and had never loaded or fired it.
Bradmon said she bought the gun to shoot at snakes in her yard and also planned to let her son use it on hikes.
She will be sentenced October 25.
