PUEBLO - Kelsie Schelling, a 21-year-old pregnant woman from Denver, has been missing for six months.
Pueblo police say her boyfriend asked her to meet him in Pueblo through text messages on February 4, not long after she got an ultra sound. Schelling drove down to meet him and has not been seen since.
Investigators say her boyfriend was arrested a short time later, after using her bank card. He is also considered a "person of interest" in Schelling's disappearance. However, police don't have enough evidence to make an arrest.
Pueblo police say they have surveillance video of Schelling's vehicle in a Walmart parking lot. A man is seen walking away from the car. A few days later, her vehicle was found in the parking lot of St. Mary-Corwin Hospital in Pueblo.
Schelling's family and friends say they will never give up the search for her.
Wednesday night at The Tavern in Lowery, her best friend Bobbi Larner hosted a fashion show fundraiser. Purple wrist bands were also sold. Larner said all of the money will go to help in the search to find Schelling.
Her family and friends have organized a search for her this Saturday at 10 a.m. Participants are asked to meet at the Pueblo Walmart, located at 4080 W. Northern Ave.
Pueblo police say Schelling's case is an active and on-going investigation. Officers routinely follow up on tips that come in to their department. Anyone with information about the case should call crime stoppers at 719 542 STOP
Schelling's family has also offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
