LAKEWOOD - The Lakewood Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) are investigating the robbery of a Colorado State Bank and Trust branch.
Investigators say the suspect entered the bank on Wadsworth Boulevard on August 16 and presented a demand note.
The suspect is described as a white male, 18 to 25 years of age, approximately 5'7 to 5'10 in height, about 150-180 pounds, with a thin build.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
