KUSA - Rules surrounding recreational marijuana are going to be the hot topic Tuesday night in many city and county meetings across Colorado.
In Boulder, council members are unveiling their newly formed regulations for buying and selling pot.
In Canon City, it looks like the city council is going to approve a moratorium on any permanent decision regarding retail marijuana sales, according to the Mayor Tony Greer. A moratorium would delay any further action on retail marijuana activity in Canon City until at least April 1, 2014.
In Fremont County, there's a public hearing to get public input on whether the commission should exercise its right under Amendment 64 to opt out of retail medical-marijuana operations. Another option being considered is whether to allow retail recreational sales, but only license to existing medical marijuana operations that wish to convert to retail operations.
