KUSA- Denver's high temperature hit 97°, breaking the old record of 95° set in 1959. This 97° reading is the second consecutive day that Denver has tied the all-time record for the month of September.

This coming weekend will be hot with forecast highs in the lower and middle 90s. Both Saturday and Sunday will be close to tying or setting new record highs.
A thunderstorm in the High Park Burn Area between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. caused flooding along Highway 14 and Stove Prairie Road. No significant damage was reported.
Cooler temperatures along with much better rain chances are in the Planning Forecast for the beginning of next week.
