KUSA - Breast cancer that strikes younger women is more aggressive while the disease is less severe in women over 70 years old, according to a new study at Harvard Medical School.
Researchers studied more than 600 women who died from breast cancer. Half were under 50 years old, and two-thirds had not gotten a mammogram.
Some say this questions the recommendation by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force that limits mammograms to women ages 50 to 74.
