KUSA - The Stock Market Experience teaches kids about the stock market for free.
The Colorado Council for Economic Education provides the state-of-the-art, real-life investment-simulation program.
Here is how it work: Students are given $100,000 - don't worry, it's fake - to invest into a virtual portfolio. Participants experience real-time trading with streaming-portfolio updates. There are also expanded trading options, which include bonds, commodities, domestic and international markets.
The Colorado Council for Economic Education is looking for more classes to participate across the Denver metro area.
