KUSA - Every year since Sept. 11, 2001, Big Bill's New York Pizza has tried to honor their memories in a positive way.
In 2012, the pizza place raised $110,000, and they need Coloradans' help to reach their goal of $120,000. Over the past three years, Big Bill's has raised $350,000 during this event.
Every penny raised stays in Colorado and goes to the JoAnn B. Ficke Cancer Foundation to help make the lives of cancer patients and their families bette, and to cancer research.
The pizza is completely free. The restaurant is only taking donations. If you cannot donate in person, you can also donate online at http://jbfcf.org/ or http://bigbillsnypizza.com/.
Breakfast pizza will only be served until 10 a.m.
