KUSA - It's an unprecedented, dire weather situation across much of Northern Colorado. And unfortunately moderate to heavy rain showers will continue to track across the Denver metro area northeast into Boulder, Longmont, Fort Collins through Estes Park overnight.
A Flood Warning continues until 11:30 Thursday night for northwestern Jefferson and Boulder counties.
northwestern Arapahoe, western Weld, northern Jefferson, Larimer, western Adams, Broomfield, Denver and Boulder counties.
Many locations along the Front Range tacked on anywhere between 2 to 10 inches overnight and into the day. We could see an additional 1 to 3 inches tonight.
A Flash Flood Watch extends along the Front Range from the Wyoming border to the New Mexico border. It lasts through midnight as there's still a good chance of seeing devastating rains.
Rain will continue overnight and into early Friday morning. We could finally see a break in the rain by early Friday afternoon. Showers are still in the forecast through the weekend, with drier, warmer weather setting up shop over the region by Monday.
