KUSA - Longmont has lifted restrictions and evacuations with the exception of the Royal Mobile Home Park on Boston Avenue.
Some of the affected neighborhoods will have to pick specific routes to get back to their homes. Officers will be monitoring ingress and egress. You will have to provide identification to get into some areas.
These areas include:
The Greens - access open from Mt. View and Columbia Dr. Airport Road is still closed.
The Champion Greens and Valley neighborhoods - access open from 9th Avenue and Airport Road. Homeowners should travel north on Airport Rd. from Nelson Rd. to the check point at St. Vrain Road. Airport Road. is closed from the north.
The Historic west side neighborhood and Harvest Junction are open with some limited street closures in the areas.
The Royal Mobile Home park should use caution when entering their homes. Resident must check in with officers and will have one hour to gather necessities. Many of these homes have shifted and are unstable. Power and gas have been turned off in your area. Meet officers near the intersection of Boston Ave and S. Pratt St.
The Francis St. Mobile home park will be open for access. The only access is from Nelson Rd., near Ken Pratt Blvd.
There may be electrical hazards at the damaged homes. If you have an electrical outage please call the LPC call center at (303) 776-0011. If you smell natural gas, please leave your home and notify Xcel at (800) 895-2999. For other questions, call (303) 651-8595.
All other neighborhoods are clear for travel with a few small exceptions and these areas are blocked with barricades.
If you see any significant road hazards in your neighborhood, please notify the call center at (303) 651-8595. Public Works and Natural Resource crews will be in affected neighborhoods, clearing areas throughout the day.
