STERLING - Floodwater in Sterling is subsiding after cresting early Monday morning.
The city still has a no-flush order in place as the waste water treatment facility was affected by flooding.
The substation was also breached by the flood but so far power is still on there.
One big problem still plaguing Logan and Morgan counties: Getting across the river.
Huge pile of debris that came down river are stacked up as the floodwater is mostly gone, along with just about available river crossing for 60 miles.
The County Highway 144 bridge opened at 4 p.m. Monday, making only two of the eight bridges over the Platte passable.
