LYONS - Lyons has a new challenge in its flood recovery Friday morning - E. coli in the water.
RECENT COLORADO FLOODING STORIES
A meeting is planned for Friday afternoon to discuss the options, after the town administrator says the water is unsafe to drink.
There was meeting Thursday night at Longmont City Council chambers to talk about all of the health concerns.
The Longmont Times-Call was there. The paper says it will be up to six months before the town is ready to support people living in Lyons.
The town is dealing with infrastructure problems, from the town's water, sewage and power, to roads and bridges.
Crews cannot begin repairs to the water lines and the sewage plant until officials figure out how they can work around the river.
