FORT COLLINS - Fire broke out in an office building in Fort Collins Sunday morning, injuring two firefighters who were fighting the flames.
At about 12:45 Sunday morning, the Poudre Fire Authority responded to reports of smoke from a building at 1943 East Lincoln Avenue.
As crews worked to extinguish the fire, it was upgraded to a second alarm.
During the fire attack, two firefighters were injured when they fell from a loft area in the business.
A "mayday" was called by one of the crew members and they were quickly located and removed from the structure by other firefighters.
One of the firefighters was transported to the Medical Center of the Rockies with minor injuries and the other was treated and released at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
