The Denver Broncos next play Sunday at home against the Philadelphia Eagles. A look at how the Eagles are faring this season:
Game info: Kickoff is set for 2:25 p.m. on FOX.
Last game: Philadelphia lost to former coach Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs 26-16 in a Week 3 Thursday night game. New coach Chip Kelly has the Eagles' offense moving with Michael Vick's talent, but the quarterback has been taking a lot of hits in the first three games. Against Kansas City, Vick was 13-of-20 for 201 yards and threw two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown.
Postgame chatter: "A lot of times they're just rushing four and they're getting to the quarterback extremely quickly. You know, we're not even getting to the top of our drop and we're getting too much pressure on them. We can't put Mike in a lot of bad situations. We've got to clean that up." - Eagles coach Chip Kelly
Big star: Vick also had 95 yards rushing against the Chiefs, including a 61-yard scramble that set up a TD pass, but he was sacked five times and hurried often.
Big letdown: Philadelphia's pass defense is the third-worst in the NFL. The Eagles have allowed 1,021 passing yards (340 per game) and Peyton Manning is up next. Philly has three new safeties and a new coordinator, but the Eagles' defensive line is not getting any pressure up front.
Last time vs. Denver: The Eagles won 30-27 at Philadelphia in Week 16 of the 2009 season. Denver rallied from a 20-7 halftime deficit to tied the game at 27, but the Eagles, behind Donovan McNabb's 322 yards passing, took the last possession and marched down for a field goal with 7 seconds left.
