KUSA- The family of homeless man who was beat to death Sunday morning said allegations made by the woman who allegedly killed him are not true.
Englewood Police say Forsythia Owen told them she beat Denzle Rainey with a baseball bat because she believed he sexually abused a young girl she knew.
Rainey's niece told 9NEWS that he had three children and was not a molester.
Rainey died Sunday from blunt force trauma at Swedish Medical Center.
Owen is being held without bond in the Arapahoe County Jail.
9Wants To Know looked into Denzle Rainey's record and it does include a restraining order that was issued against him by his wife in August.
According to Rainey's criminal record, there is no history of sex crimes.
