BENNETT - An experimental aircraft was attempting to land at the Front Range Airport when it flipped over on the runway.
According to Captain Tim McCawley with the Bennett Fire Department, the cause is still under investigation.
The pilot was the only person on board at the time and was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The pilot's identity is not being released at this time.
According to the Front Range Airport, it was a homebuilt gyrocopter.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m.
