KUSA - Adams County prosecutors are dropping a stack of new charges on the bus driver arrested for DUI in a school bus last Saturday.
Burt Carpenter, 57, of Commerce City, is being charged with 36 separate counts of child abuse.
Carpenter was driving members of the Mountain Range High School freshman football team from a game at Prairie View High School when the bus hit a vehicle in a parking lot, causing minor damage. No injuries were reported.
Carpenter is due back in court for arraignment Monday.
