DENVER (AP) - Members of CenturyLink's largest union have rejected a tentative contract that the bargaining teams reached in July.
According to the Denver Post, the Communications Workers of America District 7, which represents legacy Qwest employees, voted 54 percent to 46 percent to turn down the deal on Sunday.
The pact would have covered 11,000 workers in 13 states, including about 2,000 in Colorado.
CenturyLink acquired Denver-based Qwest in 2011.
