DENVER - There are not many "upsides" to the government shutting down this week, but the Denver Museum of Nature & Science is offering free admission to federal employees from Wednesday through Sunday.
During the partial government shutdown that has resulted in the furlough of thousands of federal employees, the museum is extending the offer to federal employees.
In order to get free admission, federal employees are asked to show their federal ID at the museum admission desk. Family members of federal employees will need to purchase tickets at a regular price.
