LAKEWOOD - The Colorado Lottery prize patrol showed up at a residence in Lakewood on Wednesday and handed over a check for a $250,000.
This was a winner in the lottery's "second chance" drawing. The family had purchased a $10 crossword scratch ticket. It was loser. They went online and entered the code on the ticket in a second chance drawing and on Wednesday, they hit the jackpot.
When the prize patrol arrived, Holly S. was, of course, in the shower.
