KUSA - The Week 6 betting lines officially are out, and the Denver Broncos are a record 27.5-point favorites over Jacksonville for Sunday's game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
The line, sent out on The Associated Press wires, was released Sunday evening and surpassed the previous spread of 24 points, which came in 1976 when Pittsburgh played the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Steelers won that game 42-0.
The Broncos (5-0) have scored 230 points this season, including 51 in the win Sunday at Dallas and 52 in Week 4 against Philadelphia.
Denver's 230 points are an NFL record through five games, 13 more than the 2000 St. Louis Rams.
Jacksonville (0-5) has scored 51 points total this year. The Jaguars scored a season-high 20 points in Sunday's 31-20 loss at St. Louis.
