KUSA - A quiet Saturday will be followed up by a few showers Sunday and more mountain snow Monday, according to the Colorado weather forecast.
Any rain Sunday is expected to be over a few locations on the eastern plains and over the higher ridges and passes in the mountains.
Cooler air moving in on Monday will bring very light rain and cooler air to the Front Range.
For the mountains near Steamboat Springs the Monday storm could provide up to a foot of new snow. A WINTER STORM WATCH is in effect for Sunday night and Monday.
Cool, damp weather for Denver and the Front Range Tuesday will feature highs only in the 40s, with light rain or snow showers.
