KUSA - After Sunday's win over the Jaguars, Peyton didn't want to talk about it just yet. Meanwhile Colts fans can't wait to have #18 back at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday night.
"I'll probably cover that on Wednesday. Do I have to talk Wednesday still?" Manning said in his post game press conference as he glanced over at members of the Broncos PR staff. "Okay, I'll do all that Wednesday. I'm going to enjoy this victory and we'll be ready to play come the rest of the week."
Before the Broncos face the Colts on Sunday Night Football (9NEWS/NBC), the home team will show a video tribute to Manning, who spent 13 seasons in Indianapolis.
"We're going to have a great tribute to him," Colts owner Jim Irsay told USA Today. "It's going to be something where you go into it wanting to have a lot of fun, where you love Peyton as a Colt fan, but now we're competing against him."
The Colts front office aren't the only ones paying tribute. A group of TV students at Decatur Central High School put together a very well done spoof to the "Football on your Phone" video. Instead of featuring the Manning brothers and endorsing a satellite TV service, the spoof called "Peyton's Coming Home" showcases the talents of a media classed headed by instructor Dean Adler.
