USA TODAY - Poor Austin Mahone!
The singer, 17, shared a photo of himself several hours ago on Instagram in a hospital gown with the caption: "I've never felt so bad."
Mahone's rep confirmed to USA TODAY that he was admitted to a hospital Thursday morning.
Earlier, he tweeted that he was going to have to postpone tonight's kick-off of his tour in Miami and Friday's show in Orlando.
"It's Doctor's orders," he tweeted. "I have a bad flu 103 fever and I can't move. If I could go I would."
UPDATE: The singer's camp has issued an official statement to USA TODAY saying he is canceling the entire tour.
"Due to illness, Austin Mahone will unfortunately have to postpone his sold out MTV Artist to Watch Presents Tour to 2014. The singer, who fell ill earlier this week and already postponed his Miami and Orlando shows, is now on strict Dr.'s orders to stay on rest and will need to reschedule all dates on the tour. The tour featured support artists Becky G, Midnight Red, and W3 The Future. Ticket holders for the sold out tour will be notified of the new 2014 dates and all details as soon as possible."
"I can't believe this is happening its my first tour I'm so upset. I feel like I'm letting you all down," wrote Mahone on Twitter.
The heartthrob, who joined Taylor Swift on several of her tour shows, was excited to be headlining his own tour.
"I've been in the dance rehearsals for a couple weeks now just getting ready. I've gotten more dancers. I've gotten more songs I'm adding to it, so you know we got like lasers and lights and smoke," he told MTV News of the 10-city trek. "And it's gonna be a huge production, so I'm really excited ... so it's gonna be a really fun tour, and I can't wait."
