KUSA - A new medical study from the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine found that frozen embryos are more successful and safer than fresh.
The study that came out this week was presented before the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. It showed that using frozen embryos show significantly higher live birth rate.
Women using frozen embryos had a successful and safe birth rate nearly 75 percent of the time.
On the other hand women using fresh embryos had a successful and safe birth rate closer to 54 percent.
With frozen embryos they are also able to do chromosomal screening on the embryos to prevent miscarriage and birth defects.
