MillerCoors LLC said Monday it is cutting about 200 salaried workers, including 30 in Golden, and will leave 160 other jobs unfilled as part of a "restructuring of its salaried workforce."
The move comes in the wake of soft sales for some of the beermaker's best-known brands, including Coors Light and Miller Lite.
Chicago-based MillerCoors is the joint venture of Denver-based Molson Coors Brewing Co. and London-based SABMiller plc, operating their beer business in the U.S. The two partners share MillerCoors' profits and run their overseas operations separately.
