GREELEY - Charges have been filed against three people involved with a house explosion in Carr, Colo. that happened Aug. 11.
Arrest warrants have been issued for Levi Allen and Clayton Smith, who are both facing three felony charges, including child abuse, manufacturing marijuana concentrate and arson.
Lavonne Bessler has also been charged with one felony for allowing Smith and Allen to manufacture marijuana concentrated on her property. She was not home when the explosion occurred.
Allen and Smith were attempting to manufacture marijuana concentrate inside Bessler's home when the process caused an explosion, blowing out the windows and lifting off the roof of the home. Allen and Smith were both injured in the explosion. They were treated for their injuries at North Colorado Medical Center.
A 7-year-old boy was in the home at the time of the explosion. He was also injured and taken to the hospital.
