DENVER - Denver resident Julie Geller is so excited that Trader Joe's is coming to her neighborhood, she wrote a song about it and produced a video.
Dubbed "I'm Camping Out at Trader Joe's," the video is shot at several iconic Denver locations (like the big blue bear at the Colorado Convention Center and the 16th Street Mall).
The humorous song is as much about Geller's love for Denver as it is about Trader Joe's, the Monrovia, Calif.-based company opening four stores in the metro Denver area, the chain's first in Colorado.
"It's been super fun," said Geller, who writes, performs and teaches children how to write songs. "People think it's nutty I'd do such a thing, but a lot of people are excited about Trader Joe's coming."
