DENVER- Another man in connection with the robbery and beating of a man near 30th and Downing has been formally charged.
The Denver District Attorney's Office reports Leopoldo Maes was charged with aggravated robbery.
The 18-year-old boy was one of the several people involved in the attack and robbery of a 23-year-old man on Sept. 18 near a light rail station.
He was identified as a suspect and arrested last week. Maes is in custody in the Denver Detention Center with his bond set at $50,000. His courtroom appearance is on Friday.
The beating was captured on surveillance video and shows several young men attacking and beating a 23-year-old victim. A Denver Police spokesman said that man was not seriously injured. The victim was taken to the hospital.
Police were able to arrest an adult and three juveniles. Detectives were looking for Maes up recently.
Police arrested Daishawn Matthews, 18, the night of the incident.
