BRIGHTON - Hundreds of people, including friends and family members, gathered at a skate park in Brighton Wednesday night to remember Ian Muro.
The Chaffee County Sheriff's Office said the 14-year-old accidentally shot himself Saturday while hunting in the San Isabel National Forest.
Wednesday's ceremony was a celebration of the teenager's life. They chose the skate park, because they say that's where Ian would have been Wednesday night.
Ian's parents say he was an experienced hunter. The family plans to place a memorial at the skate park.
