KUSA - Dia De Los Muertos is the day after Halloween.
It's a Mexican holiday of the day of the dead. On Nov. 1 people celebrate and remember family members who've died.
This year, Kim Robards Dance and Fiesta Colorado Dance Company are teaming together for Bare Feet and Spanish Soles performance to celebrate life.
Dances from Kim Robards Dance involve over 20 dancers and the three main works on the program are Soulful, day of the dead and World Premiere of Aurora.
"We feel like it'll take people through a range of emotions," Kim Robards from Kim Robards Dance said.
Jeanette Trujillo-Lucero from Fiesta Colorado Dance Company said their dances will showcase traditional dances from the 1920s.
The Bare Feet and Spanish Soles performance crosses Hispanic dancing with other types of dancing.
You can catch the performances Friday and Saturday at 7:30 P.M.
It's at the Lakewood Cultural Center and tickets start at $10
