KUSA - The warning a Wyoming college issued Monday about possible LSD-laced bread on campus has turned out to be false.
A Casper College student found three mystery loaves left on the front seat of his Monday morning.
The student alerted campus security, which performed a field test indicating the presence of the psychedelic drug LSD. Further testing by Casper Police found the same.
LSD is a synthetic substance derived from ergot, a grain fungus that grows on rye.
Casper Police haven't returned calls to confirm it was the fungus that pinged the drug test, but Tuesday the college said it was a false positive.
