KUSA - A statewide crackdown on impaired drivers kicks off Wednesday and goes through the weekend, with the hopes of helping get more drunk drivers off the road.
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, Colorado saw more alcohol-related driving deaths in October 2012 than in any other month. Six were around Halloween.
Every year more than 150 people are killed in alcohol-related crashes in Colorado. That is more than a third of all the crash deaths within the state.
