That's how Doreen Bradley simply lived her life.

"I've had upper dentures for about 10 years and then, on the bottom, I only have a partial. I only have two of my teeth," she said.

The dentures were always loose. If she did anything out in public, she constantly worried about them falling out.

"I don't like my picture taken because of it," she added.

A few months ago, Doreen Bradley applied, on a whim, for a contest that would give her what are known as dental implants.

When we first met her she was about to be wheeled into a surgery room at Clear Choice to receive her winnings.

"I'm anxious," she told us right before the procedure. "Stomach is turning."

Hours later, the procedure was over.

A few weeks after that we followed Doreen into the one place she had long feared: A portrait studio.

"We were way overdue for a photo," she said as she readied for the photographer to take a picture of her and her family.
