Douglas County Search and Rescue says the woman passed out on Devils Head Trail around 3 p.m. while hiking with a large church group from Indiana and Ohio.
Search and rescue workers found the woman about a mile up the trail from the parking lot. They say she was complaining of head, neck and back pain, along with nausea. Crews were able to stabilize the woman's condition.
Rescue workers secured the woman onto a litter and carried her down the trail to an ambulance that took her to a local hospital by 5:20 p.m.
The woman's identity and condition were not released.
