Eric Spry, 19, of Edwards, died Friday after he was rushed from Braiden Hall dormitory to the hospital, according to the Larimer County Coroner's Office.

The cause and manner of Spry's death are not yet available, but he appears to have died from natural causes. Pneumonia is suspected, but further test results are pending, Chief Investigator Diane Fairman with the coroner's office said.

Spry was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital on Friday afternoon, where he died several hours after he was admitted. There is no indication meningitis contributed to his death, according to the coroner's office.

A listing for Eric Spry of Edwards in the CSU student directory shows him as a sophomore majoring in health and exercise science.
