Brooke Thacker is a Reporter, Producer and Fill-in Anchor on 9News in the Morning.
Brooke was born and raised in southern Ohio. "I graduated from Ohio University. Shortly after graduation, I started work at WSAZ in Huntington, West Virginia, as an Anchor, Reporter and Producer."
"I love living in Colorado. I enjoy skiing, rock climbing, hiking and exploring everything unique to this part of the world. Colorado has so many little gems, amazing local restaurant, wonderful museums, boutiques and breathtaking views along the Front Range."
In 2006 Brooke was diagnosed with Crohn's disease; an auto-immune disorder. I am proud member of the Crohn's and Colitis foundation of America, I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of CCFA . My husband also lives with Ulcerative Colitis, the sister illness of Crohn's.
Speaking of proud, I'm also a proud parent. My husband & I welcomed our son in May 2012. We are also the parents of a black lab-mix named Willie. She's our 4-legged child.
