Denver Police say 34-year-old Oscar Ponce is wanted on a new charge of investigation of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust. Ponce was released after he posted bond following his arrest on a similar charge on Tuesday.
Ponce, a University of Colorado graduate, was coaching at Lincoln High School and has made a name for himself helping disadvantaged kids.
Denver Public Schools has placed Ponce on paid administrative leave.
Last year he was nominated as the district's spotlight teacher.
Police had previously asked any other alleged victims of Ponce to come forward.
