The board amended the proposal only approving two of the five signs Sports Authority wanted to place on its stadium.

The two signs they approved will be located on the southern end of the stadium, according Denver's Director of Development Services Kelly Reid.

Reid says the board also approved a light ribbon that will string around the top of the stadium. The ribbon will flash with strobe lights on game nights, but on regular nights it will either have to remain stagnant or off.

Reid says the designers will have to go back and look at the stadium's initial 2001 design plan and make sure the three other signs they want to put up follow the plan's requirements.
