The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has called him the "Crapper Scrapper."
Donald Citron hasn't been charged, but he's suspected of going into 18 different businesses since early January with a backpack and tools, going floor to floor, turning off the water and then stealing plumbing from the toilets, including brass and copper.
Investigators think the Crapper Scrapper has made off with more than $6,000 worth of plumbing.
Jefferson County plans to file charges in all 18 cases spanning four jurisdictions. Citron could face 18 charges each of second-degree burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
