On Saturday, Dr. Torres attended the first ever graduation for Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. The school is in Parker, but the graduation ceremony took place at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in downtown Denver.

All of that just summarizes the facts around this event. The most important fact is that one of the school's graduates shares more with Dr. John than a passion for medicine.

Dr. John's own son Michael Torres walked across the stage with his dad to receive his medical school diploma and follow in his father's footsteps into the medical field.

After a well-deserved break of a few weeks, the newest Dr. Torres will head off to his residency and the beginning of his medical career.
