9NEWS is saluting local young entrepreneurs and recently invited several to be guests on our morning show.

At just 20-years-old, Mary Sortebergshe is the founder of Fragile Glory Impressions. She makes hand-made greeting cards in water color and colored pencil.

Tanner Barkin (19) and Taylor Palmie (18) are the creators of Alkaline Clothing company. It's a T-shirt screening business. The pair does all the designing and printing themselves.

Ingrid and Anders of Critters and Creations, 6 and 9-years-old respectively, make polymer clay critters. They are hand-painted and stand on rocks. They are perfect for the garden.

If you, or someone you know, would like to compete in the 11th Annual Celebration for Young Entrepreneurs, go to http://www.yacenter.org/

Winners receive $1,000 and get matched with a local business mentor. The deadline to apply is June 9.
