The last evacuees from the High Park Fire in northern Colorado are being allowed home.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Department says evacuation orders will be lifted at noon Saturday.
The 136-square-mile fire killed one resident and destroyed 259 houses, a state record until a fire near Colorado Springs destroyed 346 homes two weeks later.
Lightning started the High Park Fire June 9.
Approximately 87,284 acres burned in the blaze. The cost of the fire is estimated $38.4 million.
