The service for Matthew Tyner was at New Life Church Tuesday. 

Tyner was conducting traffic enforcement at the time of the crash. The collision is under investigation. 

He joined the Colorado Springs Police Department in 1999 and served as a patrol officer, neighborhood resource officer and training academy instructor before becoming part of the motorcycle unit.
