Many educators talked about the support they received from Obama's administration over the last four years. They spoke about Obama's dedication to education, making college more affordable and his plan to invest in more math and science teachers if he gets a second term.

Both Bennet and Schafer talked about President Obama's belief that a good education will result in a strong and sustainable economy.

Campaign officials say Obama's Race to the Top initiative spurred 46 states to raise their standards without any new mandates. The President also supported more than 400,000 teacher jobs, preventing layoffs that would have increased class sizes.
