Denver Financial Planning Day is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North High School. Over 30 CFAs will be available to give free financial advice on a personalized basis.

"We're also adding a new element this year, which is classroom-style workshops," Andrea Blackwelder, a CFP, said. "[The workshops] are going to focus on everything from budgeting to maintaining your credit score to investing - and all the way through to retirement."
