More than 250 flights in and out of DIA have been cancelled because of the storm. The airport usually handles 1,700 flights daily.
Airport officials said about more than 40 planes will be parked at DIA overnight Tuesday to prevent them from being stranded on the East Coast. That's four times the number of aircraft that usually park there.
Passengers should contact their airlines directly with questions and visit the airlines' Web sites for the latest travel advisories.
