Authorities say the incident happened in the 2900 Block of 63rd Avenue around 2:30 a.m.

The victim was transported to the hospital where they died a short time later.

According to witnesses, the truck was left on the scene and the driver reportedly ran away from the accident.

The suspected driver was identified as Roberto Carlos Silva-Jaques, 39. He is facing first-degree murder charges.
