Their performance had a very special meaning. It was a benefit for a fellow dancer who was hit by a car.

In October, 22 year old was walking home after attending a dance performance when she was hit. The local professional ballerina and dance teacher suffered life-changing injuries. This month she will move to a traumatic brain rehabilitation center to undergo intensive therapy to relearn speech and mobility.

Saturday evening dancers from all over the metro area came together to help raise money to pay for her mounting medical bills. A silent auction was also held at the event.
